Alejandra Godoy
Alejandra leads Capital Network and Operations at A.GAIN and co-founded the firm in 2019. She brings over a decade of experience across growth, strategy, and operations in Latin America and Europe. She has a strong foundation in operational excellence, service, and culture, shaped in part by her training at Walt Disney World. Prior to A.GAIN, she built her own business from the ground up. She is also currently raising twins, which, as she often says, is its own kind of operational challenge.

I’m Guatemalan. I built a business from scratch, moved into venture, and relocated to Spain, building a career outside my home country and without my original network. I’m also raising twins. None of that works without clarity on vision and priorities, and the discipline to cut everything else. When both are clear, I can move fast. When they’re not, nobody can, and pretending otherwise just wastes time.
Whether people inside a company actually understand what they're building toward. Not the deck version – the real version. Whether the culture matches the ambition. Whether communication is honest or just the appearance of it.
Companies break at those invisible layers long before it shows up in any number. By the time it's measurable, it's usually already late.
The gap between what a company says it’s doing and what it’s actually doing. That gap is almost always where the real problem lives - and closing it is the work I find genuinely satisfying.
I enjoy shaping the strategy, connecting the right pieces, and then driving it forward until it actually happens. Turning ideas into execution, aligning people and priorities, and making things move.
