Guillermo Gaspart

Guillermo joined A.GAIN in 2026, bringing more than 25 years in travel and hospitality as a fourth-generation hotelier. He spent nearly 13 years as Director of Expansion at the family business.
In 2012 he co-founded BYHOURS, the platform that brought pay-per-use to the hotel industry. BYHOURS pioneered microstays across Europe and Latin America, now its largest market, and is taking its technology directly to hotels through a B2B SaaS model. He is also co-founder and partner at Atiram Hotels.
Beyond hospitality, his other great passion is football. The game runs in his blood, from a lifelong devotion to FC Barcelona to a deep understanding of the industry behind it.
Business Administration degree from UIC Barcelona and General Management programme (PDD) at IESE. Married, three kids, and sails whenever he can. Claims he was born in a hotel. Given the family business, we believe him.
Have a course before you leave port. I sail, and the sea is unforgiving with people who trust instinct alone. You read the forecast, set a heading, and know where you’re going before you leave the dock. What gets you home is usually your ability to adapt. But adapting only works if there was a plan to adapt from.
Whether new capital is buying growth or buying time. As a founder, I had one rule: every euro had to accelerate the company, never just keep it alive. I invest the same way. And I watch the relationship behind the money. Built on trust, between equals, or it doesn’t last.
The rules an industry stopped questioning. Why is the minimum hotel stay 24 hours? Why is check-in always at 2pm? Nobody asked, because it had always worked that way. But an empty room is lost revenue: if it doesn’t sell today, it never will. That’s where the most interesting opportunities hide.
